I have done a complete re-install of Windows XP and DVDFAB 8 but the same thing happens. I get the "sand dial" symbol for a few moments which indicates that the program is attempting to do something, but then nothing. However when I double click on the icon to start the program, nothing happens. If I right click on the icon it opens a window allowing me to access properties etc. Downloaded and installed the program successfully in Windows XP. I wanted to try the free version of DVDFAB before considering purchase. I have a number of Windows programs installed and they all work fine. Mac Mini runnning OS10.6.4 with Parallels 6 which is running Windows XP. (2.) Yes, it's an odd problem but I have reasons for what I'm doing.
